Expert in clean rooms and controlled environments, Lab&#8217;Science has been mastering the specificities of decontamination for many years. So when the pandemic breaks out, it imagines solutions to accompany the devices implemented to slow down its progression. From solutions dedicated to laboratory professionals, Lab&#8217;Science is broadening its offer with solutions that meet the challenges of transport professionals, supermarkets, mail experts, but also companies in many different sectors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thus was born the Sas&#8217;Labs, a UV-C decontaminating dish-pass.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Plasma rays, an alternative to chemical treatments<\/h2>\n<p>Hydrogen peroxide is frequently used to decontaminate surfaces. Although very effective, it may show constraints that the UV-C technology does not have.<\/p>\n<p>UV-C, or plasma, also called the fourth state of matter, decontaminate via the light radiation they emit. The exposure time of the object that must be decontaminated and the power of the radiation are two major factors that intervene in the elimination of germs. The University of Albi has developed a recognized expertise in the knowledge of these UV-C.
